GRAM Tortuga connects seamlessly with GRAM’s digital indicators — K3X, K3iX, K3W, K3iW — as well as the Z8 and Z8i weighing terminals, via cable or optional Wi-Fi.
All compatible models support 3-colour checkweighing, multi-tare management, totalisation, and ticket printing, powered by the platform’s integrated Xtrem® digital core.

Through its K3-series indicator compatibility, Tortuga supports the PR4 compact thermal printer and the Q2 label/ticket printer for reliable documentation.
The Q1 Bluetooth label printer extends this capability with wireless label printing, barcode support and full integration with the Xtrem App.

GRAM Tortuga provides RS-232C as standard, with Wi-Fi and RS-485 available as options. Its integrated Xtrem® module enables secure digital communication and allows the platform to send weight data directly to indicators, PCs, tablets and iOS/Android smartphones. When connected through a Wi-Fi router, GRAM Tortuga becomes part of a centralised network with browser-based data capture via Chrome, Edge or Safari.
The platform works seamlessly with Xtrem PC Software, EX Link, PW Link and the Xtrem App, supporting real-time visualisation, CSV export, QR-code output, multi-device management and remote configuration. The Xtrem App also enables multi-terminal workflows and advanced traceability when using the Premium option.

Tortuga integrates with GRAM’s full installation ecosystem — including painted or stainless-steel bases with 900 mm columns, stainless U-brackets, wall-mount systems and ABS swivel supports — ensuring ergonomic placement of K3 indicators.
Connectivity and expansion options include Direct K USB, USB outputs, RS-232 cables for printers/RD3/PC, Wi-Fi boards, RS-485 modules, Ethernet boards and digital add-ons such as the 3-relay board and RTC board.
Platform accessories include RM-8, RM-10, RL-8 and RL-10 access ramps and the BM-10 bumper, supporting safe loading, smooth access and protection in confined industrial spaces.

The platform supports the RD3 repeater indicator, providing high-visibility readings in remote or elevated locations. It is also compatible with the three-level LED traffic light, offering instant colour-coded feedback for checkweighing and process control.

For legal-for-trade setups, GRAM Tortuga can be supplied with CE verification. Optional ISOCAL certificates provide individualised calibration data to support ISO-aligned quality systems.
