GRAM Tortuga S connects seamlessly with GRAM’s digital indicators — K3X, K3iX, K3iX-P, K3W, K3iW — as well as the Z8 and Z8i weighing terminals, via cable or optional Wi-Fi.
All compatible models support 3-colour checkweighing, high-resolution display modes, multi-tare management, totalisation, and ticket printing, powered by the platform’s integrated Xtrem® digital module, which securely stores all calibration and configuration data.

Through its K3-series compatibility, GRAM Tortuga S supports the PR4 compact thermal printer and the Q2 ticket/label printer, ensuring clear and reliable documentation.
For wireless workflows, the Q1 Bluetooth label printer allows mobile label printing, barcode output and full integration with the Xtrem App.

GRAM Tortuga S provides RS-232C as standard and can be equipped with Wi-Fi, Ethernet or RS-485 as optional, mutually exclusive communication modules. Its integrated Xtrem® digital core ensures secure, stable data transmission and allows the platform to operate autonomously without relying on a traditional indicator. When connected via Wi-Fi or Ethernet, Tortuga S becomes part of a centralised multi-device network and enables browser-based data capture through Chrome, Edge or Safari.
The platform works seamlessly with PC Xtrem, supporting legal-for-trade PC-based indication; with PW Link, providing real-time display and CSV export; with EX Link, enabling efficient data capture and record management; and with the Xtrem App for Android, which offers multi-terminal workflows, barcode scanning, QR-code export and extended traceability when the Premium option is activated.

GRAM Tortuga S integrates with GRAM’s complete installation ecosystem — including painted or stainless-steel bases with 900 mm columns, stainless U-brackets, wall-mount systems and ABS swivel supports — ensuring ergonomic and secure placement of K3 indicators.
Connectivity options include ZLink® cables (4.5 m included, with 8 m and 15 m available), RS-232 cables for printers/RD3/PC, USB outputs, Direct K USB, Wi-Fi boards, Ethernet or RS-485 modules, and digital expansion accessories such as the 3-relay board or RTC board.

Platform accessories include RLI-8 and RLI-10 ramps for SLI and GLI models, as well as additional ZLink® cable options, supporting safe access, smooth loading and efficient operation in industrial environments.

GRAM Tortuga S supports the RD3 repeater display, providing clear, high-visibility weight readings in remote or elevated positions. It is also compatible with the three-level LED traffic light, offering instant colour-coded feedback for checkweighing, classification and process control.

GRAM Tortuga S is available with CE-M verification for legal-for-trade applications. Optional ISOCAL certificates provide individualised calibration data to support ISO-aligned quality systems.
