GRAM S3 combines a compact footprint with an integrated handle, allowing it to be easily moved between workstations. This portability supports flexible production layouts, incoming goods checks, and quality control tasks where weighing points change throughout the day.

IP65-protected construction for hygienic use

The sealed housing, ABS structure, and stainless steel weighing plate ensure reliable protection against dust and liquid ingress. Silicone seals and smooth surfaces without sharp edges simplify cleaning, reduce residue buildup, and support hygienic operation in regulated environments.

Integrated weighing, counting, and checking functions

GRAM S3 supports essential industrial functions including tare, piece counting, and weight checking. These built-in capabilities reduce manual steps, improve repeatability, and simplify routine weighing tasks without the need for external systems.

Connectivity & Data output

GRAM S3 is equipped with a standard RS-232C serial interface, allowing direct and reliable connection to PCs and external peripherals. This enables secure background transmission of weighing data via COM port for documentation, data logging and basic system integration.

For simple PC connectivity without additional software, GRAM S3 supports the U.Key USB direct cable as an option. This plug-and-play solution functions as a keyboard emulator, sending the numeric weighing value directly into any active software field, such as spreadsheets or inventory systems.

An optional Bluetooth interface is also available, enabling wireless data transmission to a PC. Like the U.Key cable, the Bluetooth connection operates as a keyboard emulator, providing fast and cable-free data entry.

Software & Documentation

GRAM S3 is compatible with PW-Link PC software, which enables structured recording of weighing results including weight, unit, date and time. Weighing reports can be exported in CSV or PDF format and customised with company information, supporting traceability and quality documentation in laboratory and industrial environments.

Printers

The scale supports GRAM’s PR4 compact thermal printer via RS-232 connection. The GRAM PR4 provides fast, clear printouts of weighing results, ensuring reliable documentation and smooth integration into daily workflows.

Calibration & Quality Assurance

Optional ISOCAL calibration certificates are available for GRAM S3, providing individualised calibration data to support internal quality procedures and ISO-aligned quality systems. This ensures documented accuracy and long-term measurement reliability.
